소니 오도 카메라 - Sony Odo camera

Sony introduced their new digital camera design in the eco products expo in Japan. They call it the Odo camera, instead of relying on batteries this unique camera relies upon the person taking the picture. Just crank on the wheel and the camera will charge itself. There’s an indicator on the wheel which will show that the camera is ready for shooting. Sony hopes this will inspire other electronic manufacturers to be more environmentally aware.

The device includes practical equipment such as a 3-megapixel sensor and a self-portrait timer mode and would work well as a beginning camera for children, Sony says. The company has no immediate plans for production but believes it will translate the technology into a finished product sometime in the near future.
